Como un gato que mira hacia la ventana

Un alma libre con ganas de volar

Como un pájaro solitario

que no malagasta sus esfuerzos en andar.

Yo encargué unas alas,

Me llegaron estropeadas

¿Qué me queda entonces?

Solo soñar con noches menos amargas.

Como el viento que va a donde le place

quiero ser un espíritu libre del aire

quiero marchar sin contar con nadie

quiero probar la libertad.

Tu eres solo una sombra efímera

Que como viene se va

Sin preguntar, sin replicar

A quien nadie echa en falta

Solo yo en mi soledad,

Cuando veo que no estas

Recuerdo tus besos

Y empiezo a pensar.

Quiero soñar que soy más feliz

De lo que estoy ahora

Quiero romper estas cadenas ya

Que solo me hacen llorar.

As a cat that looks at the window

 A soul free with desire to fly

 As a solitary bird

 That not wastes  his efforts in walking.

 I entrusted a few wings,

 They came to me spoilt

 What do I still have then?

 Only to dream with less bitter nights.

 As the wind that goes to where him place

 I want to be a free spirit of the air

 I want to go without possessing anybody

 I want to prove the freedom.

 Your you are alone an ephemeral shade

 That since it comes it goes away

 Without asking, without answering

 Whom nobody throws in lack

 Only I in my loneliness,

 When I see that not these

 I remember your kisses

 And I start thinking.

 I want to dream that I am happier

 Of what I am now

 I want to break these chains already

 That alone make me cry.
